Barnard Griffin Wines is supporting the March, 2008 Washington State Wine Month promotion in retail chains with a new merchandising tool to increase shopper traffic, brand awareness and generate off-shelf display and special featuring.
This 4 foot silk-like banner on a 6ft - 9 ft. powder coated metal adjustable stand is structured to encourage floor and end-aisle display of 12 - 56 cascading cases of wine as well as cut flowers with a banner that burns in the traditional Barnard Griffin “Tulip Label” branding while adding interest, appeal and stunning beauty to the wine aisles.
Cross merchandising displays are also taking place in the floral department of grocery chains with Barnard Griffin Wines and cut Spring Flowers. Displays will also be used for on-premise and special event wine tastings.
The banner and stand were designed to take advantage of the elegant look and feel of fashion signage featured in boutiques and department stores to reinforce the upscale yet approachable quality of the brand.
The display was developed by Wines of Washington Promotion and Design Hovie Studios, both of Seattle. Pinquist Tool and Die of Brooklyn, NY manufactured the banner stand.
